USLIP Iasi, a trade union organization of pre-university teachers from Iasi, created in 1990, is a basic entity that has organized activities for teachers for over 30 years and supports education in 224 schools. With around 8700 members, aged between 20-65 years, USLIP aims, through programs, measures, or in collaboration with some educational partners, to improve the conditions in schools.
USLIP offers projects, activities, and training programs to educate employees with the following profiles: teachers, managers, members of the school boards, methodists, members of the quality assurance commission, members of the European Projects Commission, union leaders, and all those concerned with continuous professional training.
USLIP is a social dialogue partner of some representative institutions of the Ministry of Education, and regional authorities with a role of guidance and control:
– Iasi County School Inspectorate, the second-largest representative of the employer, the Ministry of Education, at the regional level;
– County Center for Resources and Educational Assistance The efficient collaboration with the public institutions in the process of monitoring, evaluation, and quality assurance favors the organization of common activities and adoption of solutions specific to the education system in School education, VET, and Adult education.
